It's not often that the death of an actor affects me, the news of Lis Sladen's death makes me really sad.  Like so many Doctor Who fans, her Sarah Jane Smith was as much a part of my childhood as the Doctor himself.

So Chris Ryan is playing a Sontaran next year.  Am I the only one who's wondering how that's going to work?  Sontarans are supposed to be tall, and Chris Ryan is about two foot tall (okay, so that's an exaggeration, but he's still very short).

I've been reading the SFX Doctor Who special, and the review of "School Reunion" reminded me of the one thing in New Who that really pushes my buttons (aside from the 900 years old bollocks).  Most O.S. fans have something (or things) that irritate them, for me it's the line I don't age.
